- We do not sell your personal data.

1. Who we are
Scan n Go: Easy Entry ("Scan n Go", "we", "us") is a mobile app and website (scan-n-go.com) operated by SCC INFOTECH, Surat, Gujarat, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Scan n Go apps for Android and iOS, our website, and the in-app pages we show.
By using Scan n Go, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Information we collect
Account information
Your name, mobile number and email address when you sign up or update your profile.
Vehicle QR
Vehicle details you add (such as vehicle number) and the emergency contacts you choose, so people who scan your vehicle QR can reach you or your contacts.
Business Profile
Business details you publish, such as business name, category, address, contact details, photos, brochures and offers.
Scans and visitors
When you scan a QR code, we record the scan (date, time and the QR scanned). When you scan a Business Profile, your name and mobile number are shared with that business. When a visitor scans a Business Profile through WhatsApp, the business receives the visitor's WhatsApp number and name as shown on WhatsApp.
Expo and event passes
Details you give when registering for an expo or event (such as name and mobile number), your entry pass and your check-in history.
Payments and billing
When you buy a scan pack or a paid pass, we keep the order details (item, amount, taxes, fees, date and status) and the payment reference from Razorpay. This includes the payment method type and limited details Razorpay shares with us, such as the UPI ID, card network or last four digits, or bank name. If you ask for a GST invoice, we also keep your business name, GSTIN and billing address. When you agree to our Scan Pack Terms & Refund Policy, we record the version, date and time, IP address and device details as proof of your agreement.
Information from your device (only with your permission)
- Camera: to scan QR codes. Camera images are not stored unless you choose to upload a photo.
- Location: to check that you are near the place where you scanned a QR code. If you use a GPS Location Pass issued by an organisation, your live location is shared with that organisation while the pass is active, including when the app is in the background. You can stop this at any time in your phone settings.
- Contacts: to let you pick emergency contacts or save a visitor's contact to your phone when you choose to. We do not upload your address book. Only the contacts you select are saved.
- Photos and storage: to upload images you choose, and to save QR codes, passes, invoices and exports to your phone.
- Notifications: a device token so we can send you alerts about scans, passes, payments and your account.
Usage and device data
App version, device model, operating system, crash reports and app usage information, so we can keep the app working, secure and improving.

4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as described here:
- Businesses you scan: your name and mobile number, so the business knows who visited.

All payments are processed by Razorpay over secure, encrypted connections. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN and net banking credentials are entered with Razorpay or your bank and are never shared with or stored by us. We keep only the order and payment records described above, so we can confirm payments, issue invoices, handle refunds and meet tax law. Refunds are covered in our Scan Pack Terms & Refund Policy.
6. How long we keep information
- Account, vehicle, business and scan data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised after you delete your account, except as stated below.
- Payment records, invoices and GST details are kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting laws, even after account deletion.
- Records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or meet legal obligations are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
7. How we protect information
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and secure storage, and some sensitive fields are stored encrypted. In-app pages are opened with short-lived, single-use sign-in tickets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and fix issues quickly.

- Access and correction: view and update your profile in the app, or ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it.
